Developing your own information product, or products, is the route that you should take to create the greatest online income. Even if you have to pay someone to develop your products for you, in the long run, your profit potential is far greater.

Whilst owning your own product, you are able to build your own group of affiliates to sell your product for you. You are also in control of whether or not to sell the product as it is, or including some form of resale rights. In fact, you can even charge one price for the product and a separate price for the product and the resale rights, providing you with multiple streams of income from a single product.

The one downside to creating your own products, or having them created for you, is that it takes some time to do it properly. Adding affiliate links to your product is an excellent way to boost your income, but don't get carried away and turn your product into a sales letter. Scattering a few affiliate links throughout your product, in appropriate places, is a good way to add value for the reader.

Another benefit is the name recognition that you will attain by creating a popular product. Once you produce your own product, you can instantly become an expert in your field.
